SELL A PROPERTY
The Hancock Group Real Estate team makes selling your home as easy as possible with unparalleled client service and acute attention to detail throughout the entire process. We believe in transparency and education, opening the lines of communication with you so that you are never in the dark about where you stand. Here’s how selling your home with the Hancock Group Real Estate team works.

1. Agent Consultation
You’ll consult with one of our listing specialists at your home. We can tell you precisely how to make your home ready to go on the market. You’ll learn what modifications could be made to the home, and you can consult with our trusted stagers if necessary. You might be surprised by how a few improvements can affect pricing.

2. Listing Agreement
Once your agent has met with you, viewed your home and completed a detailed Comparative Market Analysis, we will determine a listing price. You’ll then sign a listing agreement.

3. Market Property
Our team of marketing experts will create a custom Marketing Plan plan to get your home exposed to the right buyers. You and your agent will establish a number of activities for marketing your property. This can include professional staging services, photography, expertly-made flyers, postcards, and a smart social media strategy.

4. Coordinate Showings
Open houses and showings will allow potential buyers a first-hand look at your home. Your agent will coordinate all of the showings with you.

5. Receive Offer
Once a potential buyer makes an offer on your home, your agent will contact you to review the offer and discuss the next steps.

6. Negotiate Terms
We’ll go to work for you to make sure you’ll get the most for you home — negotiating the terms of the contract while keeping your best interests in mind.

7. Inspections & Appraisals
Part of the offer and negotiations process will include inspections and appraisals from the buyer and the buyer's lender. Your agent will communicate and work with their side during this phase of the process.

8. Finalize Negotiations
There could be a negotiation of the contract after the inspections and the appraisal. Your agent will continue to work for you to keep the selling process moving.

9. Closing
Once everything has been finalized, it’s closing time. You’re now ready to move on to your next adventure.

10. Never Finished
Your Hancock Group Real Estate team is never finished. Even after your home sale is complete, your agent is a continued resource for all of your home-related questions.
